If you fancy yourself as a bit of a card shark but don't want to risk losing real money, Real BlackJack could be just the game for you. It's a free version of BlackJack (or Pontoon as it's sometimes known) to be played for fun on your phone.
The basic rules of Real BlackJack are to get your hand value closer to 21 than that of the dealer, without going over 21. Aces can be counted as 1 or 11, and the King, Queen and Jack are valued at 10. Before each hand is dealt, you place a bet by tapping the chips at the bottom of the screen. Your total money is displayed in the top-left of the screen.
If you don't fully understand the rules of the game, don't worry because Real BlackJack explains everything clearly and comprehensively in its Help section. In fact, Real BlackJack makes a great tool for mastering the nuances of Pontoon and working on your strategy. In the Basic Strategy section of the menu you can view a matrix that displays the best strategy to adopt in any given situation. This is well worth studying if you're planning a trip to a casino soon.
Real BlackJack gives you lots of control over rules. You can whether or not the dealer can peek on aces and tens and determine their behavior on Soft 17. You can also apply the option to double down following a split or offer a surrender at the cost of half your original bet.
The game interface itself RealBlack is functional enough and easy to operate. It's a shame there's no option to play against someone else online or over Bluetooth, though.
All in all, Real BlackJack makes for a fun and educational way to practice BlackJack on your phone.
